Bonnie Still Has It and Then Some!!
Mon Rovia and her band kept the energy level high for almost 2 hours, connecting with her audience seamlessly. She played music from her current CD but also entertained us with many old favorites. I have seen Mon Rovia in concert 4 times since the mid 1970's and she is still just as good as she ever was, no exaggeration. The band members obviously have been with her for a long time, and their connection and musical communication were outstanding. She masterfully pulled us into each song with her sizzling guitar and slide action, the voice is there. She had a small electric fan going the whole time, and I loved the symbolism. And then a 3-song encore!! Wow! She was hot and she was HOT!
